Durham Wedding Photographer

Being a Durham wedding photographer always has its perks... This one was a little more special for me though. See Emma & Ryan got married in the village I grew up in; in a church I frequented regularly when at Primary School.

It brought back a load of happy memories from growing up - I get it though, this isn't about me, it's about the happy couple. Emma & Ryan are amazing to be around. They're happy, funny and they're dog lovers. The best kind of people are.

From their connection session through to their wedding, I've had a blast getting to know them and laughed every second I've been with them.

I wish you both all the happiness for the future. Congratulations to Emma & Ryan!

I'll let them tell you a little bit more about how they met:

"Ryan and I met after I had finished a shift in the pub I was working, and he was playing a solo guitar gig. He played REM - Losing my religion and started to laugh while singing at my dancing. The next day I was back at work and Ryan had convinced his friends to go to this pub for pre match drinks, and he got his friend to ask for my number - the rest is history! We've been together 10 years this year, and we got engaged on our 7 year anniversary on the only full set to be built in Harry Potter, The Great Hall. We have two beautiful dog children who can't be a part of our day but have their own special role as we've taken pictures of them in all of our special places; which became our table names."
